History of the hotel
Aparthotel Sumava 2000 is located in the upper part of the historic square in town Kašperské Hory, opposite the fountain. This place has a very rich history and is an urban conservation area.
Long ago in this place was a pub with accommodation. Later, after the 2nd World War it became a butcher, then the buffet, and even that was eventually closed. The building was in poor condition and dilapidated. In 2000 is began a very difficult reconstruction. The historic building, the old more than 250 years, has succeeded due to the very poor technical condition and collected only in the vaults of the farm buildings (now a fitness facility). Other parts of the hotel is newly built, but volumes were preserved material (width, height, length, approximate location and size of windows, etc.).
During the reconstruction, which lasted more than 2 years, we
thought, above all, we offer you accommodation in the
Bohemian Forest, where you feel really comfortable. The
first guests were in the hotel at the end of August 2002.
