Aparthotel Šumava
2000 is situated in the upper section of the historical
square in the town of Kašperské Hory opposite the
fountain.
For along time in the past a guest house with a restaurant, accommodation and a butchery existed here (see historical picture in the header). After the 2nd world war the building became a butchery, then buffet and even this was closed later (and we have been missing it in the town since then :-).
Only parts of the vault remain from the historical building more than 250 years old (currently fitness center). During reconstruction of the building which took two years we put emphasis on ensuring a pleasant and comfortable experience of our clients.
Despite it may sound like a cliché, we strictly follow the slogan “Our Guest is Our Master". Come over to experience this... We are looking forward to welcome you in our hotel!

The first person you will meet in
our hotel is a receptionist. The front desk is the
heart of the hotel. Our receptionists are kind and smiling. They
are available to you at any time to help you with anything you may
need.
In the lobby bar
you can choose from a wide offer of hot and cold drinks, you can
read newspapers, find out about the latest news, decide where you
will go the next day, what the weather will be like and
many other useful information.
Right next to the front desk there is the Internet
café with fireplace. You do not have to
give up your favorite Internet even during vacation... The evening
glass of wine while looking into the calming flames will slowly
bring an idea of going to undisturbed sleep. The lobby also
includes a large library (mainly in Czech) which is free for the
hotel guests.
On the ground floor is also a
quality sport and relaxation center, which
includes the following facilities: sauna, infrared cabin,
whirlpool, fitness, turbo tanning. In addition there is
outdoor solar heated swimming pool with
countrecurrant located in the upper section of the closed
yard.
Through the stairs beginning at
the front desk you will access the first floor. On this floor there
is a spacious common room. This is where you can
enjoy a good breakfast every morning. The
breakfast is served in the form of the self-service buffet. We also
provide healthy food, fresh fruits and vegetables, selection of
warm drinks including hot chocolate and cappuccino.
On the first floor there are four studios – two
of them can be joined together by the soundproof door into pleasant
two-room suite.
On the second floor there are
remaining studios and a laundry
room equipped with a washing machine which is free for the
hotel guests.
In the hotel there is a total of 12 studios and 1 family suite with the maximum capacity of 40 beds and 5 additional beds. Therefore you can enjoy a pleasant atmosphere of a small family hotel.
Do you feel that we miss something? Restaurant? Our hotel does not operate own restaurant. However, due to a good cooperation with restaurants in the close vicinity (from 5 up to 120 meters from the hotel) we can offer you complete catering services.
